Professor Ronald A. Hites

Professor Hites areas of research include Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. His work applies organic analytical chemistry to the understanding of environmental problems. Determining long-term rates of change in absolute concentrations and atmospheric residence times of halogenated compounds, residence times due to atmospheric removal pathways, and the atmospheric transport of PCBs and other pesticides in the Great Lakes region.
