Professor Amar Flood
Professor Flood's areas of research include Molecular Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The long-term goal of his research programs, is to integrate sensing, logic, and actuation together in order to demonstrate autonomous action from a molecular robotics system by taking natural concepts and applying them to artificial systems. This research can lead to the development of applications ranging from molecular electronics to mechanical engineered systems.
